D3 Question fot an 07'

Hey folks, I am awaiting a Avic D3 and want to know if I need a dash kit or does it slide right in the opening without having to fill in the space.

Thanks...Oh, and if I need a kit does anyone have any sources?

Dash kit necessary. If you have a Circuit City local, you can get one from their audio install department.

If it uses the same kit as the 1st Gen, its Scosche #FD1330B. Neither CC or Best Buy near me had them in stock. I finally found one at a custom shop, it was about $20. I've got an extra that I bought from Adam as well, but I think I'm gonna need it soon.

Metra also makes a kit, which Circuit City should have.

Installed one about a month ago. No problem. About a days work to hook up everything. Love it. Check out avic411.com or drop me a note if you have any install problem
