Can't speak to the accuracy of this, but the article I saw said it was an African antelope known as a red hartebeest. "Red hartebeests, a type of antelope, are among the swiftest animals in Africa and can attain speeds of 65 mph."

When looking closely at the slo-mo portion of the clip, it appears that the animal lowered its head and actually tried to use it's antlers to attack the rider. I wonder if it may have been an intentional attack?

I didn't know exactly what type of animal it was, but it antelope are in the deer family...

Yep, it looked deliberate to me. Obviously a new terrorist threat. I can see additional screening will be added to HomeLand Security's list....No Deer, Antelope, or Gazeles with antlers.
