Difference Between the 87 and 93 Tune

Gotta say, I love the XCal2 and right now I am running the 87 performance tune. I also have the 93 performance tune but I haven't tested it out yet (because who can afford to run 93 octane right now when they don't have to?).



What is the difference between the two spec wise? I hope to try out the 93 tune very soon.

The 93 oct will give you around 5 more hp and 6-8 ftlbs.

I'm surprised that's all that you get between the tunes. Anyhow, you WILL notice a change in tunes. The trac will be much "happier" with the 93 tune. That being said, you will also be filling up more often.

I did the same as you when I first got the xcal. I was running 87 and though I would not use the 93 much. That was before I gave it a try, lol. Since using the 93 I haven't gone back. Yes I am paying around 20 more per gallon but since I am already paying so much anyway I would rather spend a few more dollars for more performance. It is definitely a noticeable difference.
