does the pioneer avic-z1 fit in the ST

Yes - But at least one, maybe more, have had it installed and have pictures of it and all the details. I'm sure they'll chime in. I'm thinking about it too.

Assuming it is Double DIN, which it should be, then yes.



To make the job easier, you will want to pick up a Scosche Double DIN kit for 95+ Explorers.



The install will require minor trimming of the radio bezel.

It fits in the '07 for sure. It uses the F150 install kit. As for '01-'05, some have fit a double din HU in that opening, however it required some trimming.
