Ive been noticing that my driver door has not been shutting as well. Yesterday I grabbed the door and I was able to shake it up and down. Quite a bit of up and down play in the door. I could also see that there is some wear on the door just above the latch, where it's not lining up correctly. What do I need to do to fix this issue? Ive never done anything like this before. What parts do I need?

Sounds like the hinge pin is worn out... pretty easy fix...or you may just loosen the top hinge bolts and raise the door a little and retighten the bolts...just a bandaid till you can install a new pin...😀

Thanks yall. I have not had time to work on this issue this week, but i will look into these suggestions.

I had the same issue with a GMC Suburban. Just it’s sheer weight over time. For me I checked around and found an auto body shop with a great door guy. I took it in and he adjusted both front doors and did not even charge me anything. Hard to beat a really good door guy. MM
