Driver side Door

When I push the lock/unlock button inside the truck all of the doors except the driver side open or close. The same thing happens when I use the remote if I push the lock down from inside the door will lock and I can open it from inside also. Any Ideas?

Chances are that either the actuating rods are gummed up and the actuator just can't put out enough torque to push the rods up and down, or the actuator itself is going bad. My 2000 Explorer had the same issue with the rear driver's side door, I was able to take the door panel off and spray some lubricant in while moving the lock back and forth and got it working again.

It happens to mine often and I spray the hell out of it with W-D40 (using the red straw) and getting it into the latch opening from the outside. I've never had to take off the door panel just for that. Spray it up and down and then work the switch.
