Drivers seat

Hi guys, I have a 2003 ST. Every time I step on the brakes I feel the driver seat shift slightly:angry::angry: forward, about 1/4", I don't think the brackets bolted to the floorboard is the problem. Could the gears be loose that meet with the track be going out or loose???

My 'O3 Adrenalin did that too. Dealer couldn't fix it, but it was a lot better after the uplholstery shop took it all apart to replace the broken lumbar support. Not sure what they did to fix it.

I have the same issue on my 01, and I do have power seats.

IF I put the seat all the way down, I dont feel it move...

Has anyone had to replace there gear motor??

I don't believe that you can buy just one motor...you have to buy the whole seat transmission and it ain't cheap
