Just installed this HD radio.

http://www.dualav.com/receivers/xhd7714.html

$140 at Walmart (+$20 for bezel and harness).

Very happy with the features of this radio. Built in Bluetooth for the cell phone.

Plays mp3's off the usb. A lot of value here.

The bezel kit fit perfectly. Install time was quick mostly the soldering of the harness.

I found the best way to remove the existing radio was to pull the whole console out.

The only negative is the blue illumination.

Would've been nice if they made it selectable between blue/amber/green.

Doesnt really get the marketing to do it justice I guess. I know I enjoy CD quailty, but I mostly do satellite anyways. Sounds like a good price and value tho.

Basically most of the FM stations (and some AM) are converting to digital.

Each FM station can now have up to 3 seperate digital sub channels.

I guess the reason you don't hear about HD radio is that most retailers

would rather you buy a satellite radio so they can sell you a subscription.

I am not interested in paying for radio.

In my area (Philadelphia) I would say that most FM stations have converted over and most of them have two HD channels.

You can find out more about HD radio and what stations are availible in your area by going

The HD radio is nice but I really like the ability to play mp3's off of a USB flash drive.
