I am looking into where I can tap into the high level audio with a converter for input into a mono sub amp. I am keeping the factory system in tact, just adding an amp and sub. Does anyone know an easy spot to do this at? Is there a place to grab a signal from the stock sub?

Thanks

David

Since my amp is in the storage area behind the back seat, I just tapped into the rear door speaker wires and ran the wire through the rubber grommet, down the mid pillar, under the door sill, and brought it out just under the rear seat. It was actually easier than it sounds.;)

Do you actually have a stock sub? If so you could pull the sub out and figure out which wires provide the signal that way and then just connect them up there.

If you don't have the stock sub then the wires won't be there and the best bet is the doors like Stonemiser said.

Yes I do have the stock sub. That's what I was hoping to do, I just hope they didn't do something stupid with grounding or putting the audio on the power lead and cause me a headache trying to strip it off. I've seen some wierd stuff with factory setups.

Thanks again for the box JD. I'm looking forward to getting it.
