EDIT:: Firefox/Thunderbird question

once you tell firefox NOT to save a username and or password,,, how can you go back later and make it keep the sign-in info?:blink:

I think, go to Tools> Options> Privacy (second tab)> Passwords (third tab)> View saved passwords. I choose to save most of my passwords, so I'm not sure where exactly to go or what to do to save only certian info.

Try clearing all your forms and stuff that usually works for me (cache, cookies and such)

Go to Tools>Options. At the very top, click "Privacy". On the page it opens, click the "Passwords" tab (make sure on this page that the "Remember Passwords" has a checkmark). Click the "View Saved Passwords" button. It will open another page. At the top of that page, click the "Passwords Never Saved". Choose the one you want to start remembering, and click "Remove", or just click "Remove All" to (duh) remove all of them.

Goto Tools>Clear Private Data...It's going to erase all saved passwords but you can reenter everything and it'll work.

Greg, I printed out all of the info and then dumped the file. Now it's like starting over. Work arounds

How do you insert a signature in Thunderbird mail?????

Go to TOOLS > ACCOUNT SETTINGS. Click the account you use, and then check the box for "Attach this signature". Click the choose button to choose the signature to use (You'll have to have the signature in a file ahead of time... .txt should work).

Thanks JayMcK,,, got it working. Made a small jpg file to use because any txt file would not allow me to use anything but standard fonts. But, like I said,,, got one going on each of my email accounts. THANKS AGAIN (don't know how I missed the obvious):huh::huh::huh:
