It was awesome Steve, A little hazy until about 3pm, then everything cleared out. The colors are great. It was worth the trip. We went to eat at Bogarts in Waynesville, the came straight home.

I have driven on the Blue Ridge Parkway, but never in the fall. However, I have driven through the Shenandoah Valley, VA (about 100 miles west of Wash, DC) at the peak of their fall colors and it was absolutely spectacular.
