Don't know if you all remember my thread on the "check engine" light.
Got it tested and it says the following
"P1400 EGR EVP Sensor Circuit Low Voltage Detected"
This was also listed.
The presence of a trouble code in the on-board computer signifies that a value has fallen out of a specified range. There are many reasons for trouble codes. A bad sensor, solenoid or actuator can cause a trouble code directly or an incorrect value of another sensor can trigger a trouble code related to that system. If the wiring on a system is not connected properly a trouble code will also be recorded.
I'm wondering now if this is why my truck dies out on me right after I fill up on gas?
What means can I go about fixing this or do I need to take it a certified mechanic.
Thanks,
Dave
