Just looking for experience.. Prolly a topic discussed before, just looking for the most recent. I want to know if it will make a substantial difference wether it being alone or with other details done to the engine. And again... tell me a story

The latest Chip is not a chip. It's a programmer from Wayne Foy "WFoy" (one of our member sponsors) Wayne can send you a programmer with a custom tune for you specific needs whether it's economy and MPG or performance and HP on Regular or Premium gas.



You can store several different tuning setups in one programmer as well asy your factory stock program. Plug the programmer into the OBD-II access port just below the steering wheel and in a few seconds your Sport Trac is retuned to what ever program you specified.

I have the diablo tri-program chip. Stock/87perf/91perf The chip took about 3 minutes to install just loosen 3 screws and out comes the box. Plug the new chip in and tighten up the 3 screws. I have a 3 position selector switch to switch between modes but I never do.



Anyways it made an incredible difference in my ST, plus it fixed the speedometer due to my larger tires, shifts great. Also removed the rev limiter it realls hauls now. Well it used to until gas went up.
