Factory Pioneer 6 disc tuners

What year ST's have the 6 disc Pioneer audiophile radios with the CD changer controls? My 02 does not have that functionality but it is starting to act up, and was going to ask my dealer to replace it with the newer head unit that CD changer controls.



The reason I want the CD changer controls is because I can hook up an ipod to the head unit in lieu of the FM modulator. Plus I have the Parrot bluetooth setup for my phone and if I changh to an aftermarket radio I dont know if Parrot Bluetooth will work.

I just did a search would I be correct in assuming I would need a head unit from an 04-06?



And I am assuming it would have different wiring then my current head unit?



So now I am assuming this wont work?:wacko:

I believe the connectors on the back are the same, The difference is the 3rd plug for the factory amp and sub.



Honestly your better off then spending the money on the dealer radio getting a nice aftermarket cd/mp3 radio....
