probably wont see it until late october and i wouldn't run it as it still would be new and needs to be broken in. :driving:

last test run i saw was 13.3

Thank God! I couldn't handle another crushing defeat.... Besides, the use of a warrantied vehicle if used in a racing or timed event, would forfeit any rights to warranty coverage on said vehicle. Any policy would be null and void. Hmmm, and the phone number for Jeep is???

PS: just trying to improve my odds. Love ya Gary! Bob :bwahaha:

Gary, that is the way I always broke my motors in. I didnt over rev them or dog the crap out of them.

I always ran them the way I wanted them to, right out of the box. 500 to 1k oil change, then ran it hard again. 3K oil change, then ran it the way I wanted it too with normal oil changes. Never blew one or ruined it. When it came to performance. Car for car or motor for motor. Mine usualy ran the best.

If it was a motor I built or a car I bought. If I did a tear down for more performance build. Internal wear and tear speced very good for the way I drove it.

It is your car. Maybe I have been lucky. Im just a believer in breaking them in the way I want it to run. Loosen that baby up...LOL

bob, i don't consider the SRT8 a jeep :driving:

i tell you what. i will eat a whole pizza pie before so you can have an advantage :haveabeer:

wonder what todd has up his sleeve

edddie,

i am a firm believer of somewhat driving "hard" from new. stomp the pedal at time for full WOT and not driving at a consistent speed for long period of time until about 2K.

imo, with today's technology it shouldn't make a difference in the long haul.

i just don't want to take a brand new vehicle to the track until about 3K.

see below. i can't wait :banghead:
