I got my bed divider re-installed (without notching it) and the EZ lift funtioning as well.

I unhooked the rear shocks, flipped the tonneau cover back. Unhooked one side of the tonneau latches at a time, then located the hole behind the EZ Lift mounting plate that my divider rod slides into and measured from the lower mounting plate bolt hole up to the hole I needed. It was exactly 1 1/4" above it, (which happened to be directly in the center of the silver EZ Lift sticker). I drilled a 3/8" hole through the mounting plate, and re-installed the mounting plate. Then did the same thing on the other side of the bed. The holes lined up perfectly and then my bed divider slid in and re-latched with no problem. Then I relatched the tonneau, then hooked the shocks back up. Took about 45 minutes. Just wanted to let you all know it can be done! ;)

Rich- Maybe you could put a little disclaimer on your site that the EZ lift will only work with the bed divider if you drill out the extra 3/8" hole on the mounting plate. Other than this one problem I am very happy with your product! :D -Heather

Heather,

Good work!

I made a similar mod to my LeverLift, but it required a little cutting on the divider as well.

You should submit it as a Project.

Heather,

You drilled through my LeverLift Company label?? I'm crushed

Just kidding. I'm glad you got it working.:D

I plan on updating the web site as soon as I get my main PC up and running and can get to my web software.

Sounds like the warranty should be void for damaging the sticker...

Rich..

I say you should put one of those matress labels with your name on it... ya know... the one you "can't remove" ;):D:p

Josh,

I like that idea. My label should say, "Do not removed under penalty of the law". I tore one of those off our coach cushions when I was a kid, and I still feel guilty about it.

I guess I could add the second hole and have to deal with all the questions about "What's the other hole for?", and just knowing someone will put the mounting plate on upside down.

Then that would present another major problem, "Where do I put my label?" But I'm not asking for suggestions, I know the answer I'll get :D
