It is made by Trans-dapt and the name is Clear Gearz. I got it from Summit Racing. It is for the 8.8" differential.



Installation was like any other. The only difference is that you only torque the bolts to 5 Ft/LBS (60 inch/LBS).



The cover is very strong, but if torqued in incorrectly, it can crack...according to the sales rep I spoke to a year or so ago. Besides that, it is strong.



Dad ordered one for his motorhome. They had mine in stock, but the motorhome has a Dana 80 and not many use Dana 80's for their car.

The ring is to keep even pressure around the cover. it is made of Aluminum and the bolts are 304 Stainless Steel.
