We spent new years with my parents last weekend...driving home 7pm sunday night a doe ran into the side of my trac, out on the highway...dont know what happen to the deer, I was doing 70 and it was dark..there is no sign of damage to my Trac...not even any blood...

at least the front pasenger door is tough...scared the H' out of my wife though...

Same thing happened to me in 1987...with a 1981 Ford Escort. Doe ran into the side, staggered a bit, then took off. A very small dent over the rear fender on the drivers side. Ford Tough!

Glad you were not hurt.

Glad you and the ST are OK. I continue to do my part to reduce the chances of deer/auto collisions. :D Better in the freezer than through a windshield. :p

Thanks Fast Eddie. It's really not bad for western NC. I sure was happy to bag it.

I've hit two deer with my ST. The Westin Safari bar took the hits. No damage. I had to realign my auxillary driving lights, however.

According to my body shop guy, the doors have two intrusion bars, per door. Also, I saw an st roll over on my way back from Washington state. The guy walked out, the bed splintered on one side the roof did not cave in and no glass was broken, as far as I saw.
