not as many vehicles involved but a similar problem that toyota had. the numbers are much lower then toyota as ford has not sold as many vehicles.

on a side note, the dodge caliber is being recalled for an accell problem. they used the same vendor as toyota, CTS

The problem is people cannot following instructions. What Ford is finding on the problem vehicles is that people are are stacking the all-weather rubber mats on top of the original mats. The mats have embossed on them not to stack on top of the original mats, and the instructions also say don't to it. Every vehicle that Ford has looked at that had a stuck accellerator, once the instructions are followed, and the extra mats are removed, operates just fine. :smack:
