Ford's Order Status Number

Has anyone ever called the 800 number to check on the status of a vehicle. I can't get the automated system to recoganize it when i say U53 for the body type of the sport trac-- it either says can't understand or it thinks i said U58. Anybody got any tips? I hate to bug a rep because i know its technically only for dealers......

What # are you calling? All I could do is call teh ford 800 # and talk to customer service.

How do I find out my 5 digit dealer code?

Mine was on the order inquiry page I received from the dealer. It starts with an F followed by 5 digits.

Here's a list of '07 MY ST series codes: XLT - 4x2 (U31), 4x4 (U51); LTD - 4x2 (U33), 4x4 (U53). Hope this help, Good luck!

Dam thing doesn't understand U33, guess I should have ordered a 4x4. :angry:

It does not understand U53 either. If you know your order number, dealer number and salesman's name you can talk to the real person and get the information.
