Maybe they are going to get one of those USPS "if it fits, it ships" boxes and will be sending it out of harms way.

Pretty smart if they taped the bottom. It will float away during the flood and one phone call to On-Star and they can find it, pop the bubble, and dive away.

Wonder if anyone has patented a car zip lock bag, we could make a million selling them on the TV. :driving::

JFK has done the same thing INSIDE their terminals. All the machines are plastic wrapped...

What a waste of time and money. It is not possible for the wrap to stop water from entering the machines. They didn't seal them, just wrapped them up..

Hey Redfish, yep, they already exist. AutoBag, sold out of Minnesota. Run by a guy named Mike and his wife, nice people. Use one for the Harley during the winter, works great. The only thing is the desicant packs(4/bag) are huge and you have to bake them in a low oven every year to revitalize them(phew). Bob

Although that particular wrap is considerably insufficient, I have seen many people use pallet wrap to protect their vehicles from flying debris. It does help.
