Front end noise

I'm getting a loud noise up front when turning or going over 35mph. Any ideas on what this may be, hate to go to the dealer for something simple. Thanks.

Does it go something like "whomp, whomp, whomp?" If so, your tires are cupped.

On my old Sport Trac, an 01, the front drive shaft went bad. Got it replaced under warr. Sometimes a cv joint will make noise when you turn a corner. Gary

His profile says 4x2. Being an '01 Have your front wheel bearings ever been serviced?

We will need a little better description of the noise you are hearing? If it's related to speed it could be some kind of engine noise. Also, if you have a 4X4 it could be a bad CV joint or wheel bearing?

When I get up to 35 or higher it sounds like to motor is trying to rev to high, but it's got to be in the front end. Seems to shift ok at speed, however, going up hills it doesn't want to acc. very well.
