Oh good lord you just brought up the topic from hell.

50% say too hard, go to mech.

50% say easy, DIY.

The other 50% can't figure out which filter to use, the 2 in one out, one out two in, or one in one out.

We have a lot of members.

Before you all keep posting about her friends, she's got a 2007.

I think I remember hearing that the filter was in the tank, and part of the pump... not sure though.

WARNING: Do not smoke or carry lighted

tobacco or open flame of any type when working

may result in personal injury.

WARNING: Fuel in the fuel system

remains under high pressure even when the

engine is not running. Before servicing or

disconnecting any of the fuel lines or fuel system

components, the fuel system pressure must be

relieved to prevent accidental spraying of fuel

which can cause a fire hazard. Failure to follow

these instructions may result in personal injury.

manufactured to very precise tolerances and fine

clearances. It is therefore essential that absolute

cleanliness is observed when working with these

components. Always install blanking plugs to any

open orifices or tubes.

CAUTION: When reusing liquid or vapor

tube connectors, make sure to use compressed air

to remove any foreign material from the

connector retaining clip area before separating

from the tube.

FWIW ........For what a shop would charge, if I didn't just love having gasoline running to my armpits:(, I'd let them change it. ;)

Sorry but there are some items like the fuel filter that has been discussed at very great lengths and very easy to find info about. Plus original poster gave very little info to go on. The easy thing would have been to just say yes or no but this is one of those things you need a lot of input on and than make a decision on your own.
