Fueling up '10 Adrenalin

Anyone else have a problem pumping gas into a '10 Adrenalin?

The pumps keep shutting off after a few seconds even when the

tank is not even near full. I have tried several stations across the

state with the same result.

have you tried varying the depth of the nozzle in the filler neck, putting it in all the way vs. not all the way in or the speed of the gas flowing from the nozzle.

Yes. Seems to be the same problem as some '05 Mustangs...

That use to happen with my S10, but no problems so far with the ST. It can be very annoying

Problems with my '06 Mustang GT, Have to go slow. The Sport Trac('08) is ok but the automatic handle clicks off early and have to put the last 2 gallons in very slowly.

My '05 Mustang GT has the same problem but since I rarely drive it

I never bothered doing anything about it. It's more of an inconvenience

with a daily driver.

I have a '10 Adrenalin and do not have the problem, but I tend to leave my truck running, or at least the key on while filling. NJ still has gas station attendants and I sit in the cab. :supercool:.

My '08 Adrenalin did the same thing a couple of summers ago, randomly stopped & hasn't returned . . . the heat & humidity may have had something to do with it in my case . . . try pumping when it's cool (late at night or first thing in the morning) and see if there's a difference . . . just a thought
