Futura tires?

Anyone have anything to say about these tires?

i had a set of futura tires on an infinity q45 i bought years ago.

i think they are a pep boys special, good for 80,000 miles.

the rubber is VERY hard, no wet traction, and spins every time you step on the gas.



i cannot recommend them.

I put a set of the Z-rated on my stang a few years back..hated the control,wet or dry..got rid of them before 10k miles...dont know about the other tires form pep-boys...other than they always ad low prices...sometimes you get what you pay for...

I had a pair of coopers of some sort that came with my first car. Hit a pothole, blew one out. Not a big hole either, it split down the sidewall like a diagonal seam ripped.

A friend of mine has futura dakota's on his Silverado 1500.. he has no complaints and he has 35,000 miles on them.. i believe that they are made by COOPER. Pepboys sells them. Not a bad tire for the price.. The Silverado had the same size tire as my ST 255x70x16 and he paid $350 for 4 installed with an allignment...



You may want to look at Firestone Destination's.. For the price they are good tires as well..

I have to disagree with,,Truc Trac about the ultra Z...maybe the difference was front drive....I know on my Stang they were a sloppy tire....
