I just noticed the other day that my gear indicator is out of position. If I'm in Park it shows Reverse, Reverse shows Neutral, Drive show 2, etc. I haven't had a chance to look into how to fix it yet. Anyone else had this happen and know how to fix it? I'm guessing it is something out of whack in the column. Thanks.

There's a cable that is attached to a clip. The clip moves when you shift gears. It is a matter of removing the cowling around the lower column and simply pull the clip off the part it is clipped to and move it as needed. Pretty easy job....

Kevin,

Thanks! I knew I could count on someone to save me a bunch of time. I didn't think it would be that hard to do.

BTW, did you find any extra OBD II covers when you were home?

Doug, I forgot who had asked for it as I buried the note I made myself.

I do have some if you want one. Just let me know and we will make it happen.
