Gear Shift Selector Cable

I recently replaced the console lights (thank you to the user who posted the 'how-to') and now my gear shift selector doesn't move. The vehicle still shifts ok, and I can access all the gears, but the little orange needle doesn't move off of Park.



Suggestions? Is the needle attached to the small red cable under the instrument cluster?

Check the cable to the panel. Probably came off.

Does anyone have a picture of what the attachment point looks like?

It hooks on the back of the dash cluster, maybe some one else can chime in...
