Gen 1 Year Differences

I've looked at every truck listed in the ST of the Week section. I'm having a hard time distinguishing between the different model years. I see some have hood scoops. Some have a little different running board. But, most changes are minor. What are some of the exterior differences between the Gen 1 trucks that will help me ID what year they might be?

2003 Adrenalin has painted body cladding.

So does my 2005. So was the 2003 the first year for this?

Other than emblems there is almost no difference between 01-05 Tracs.

If you see one with a hood scoop, it was added on.

The body cladding was painted on my '04 and it wasn't an Adrenalin.

03-05 have additional cupholders and handles on the A-pillars, as well as disc brakes. 01-03 are also the only years available with a manual transmission. So a quick glance through the window can cut out 40% of the model years.



On emblems, if the tailgate emblems have any sort of trim level (eg: XLT) then the ST is newer than 2002.
