This happened recently in the Dallas area and it's getting a lot of positive public publicity for the good Samaritan....

I wonder what happened before that. Maybe a collision could explain the fire and the driver not evacuating himself?

I wonder what was burning. Unless the injector fuel rail, on the pasenger side came loose.

Thank you Santa for being there! Good story with a happy ending, we need more of that in the news. Sad to see another Trac get ruined, but glad the driver is OK. Bob
 
An update to the story was just released.....It turns out that the good Samaritan (Santa) that pulled the guy out of the Sport Trac lost his son about 7 yrs ago. Well the good Samaritan's son (who is deceased) was friends with the guys daughter that he had saved. Small world...
