Hey guys,

Take a moment to read Bill Barbers post on the "Vietnam in HD" thread. You don't need to comment unless you feel you must, but I promised Bill I would let as many Vet's here know about his opinions and feelings.

Hope all Veterans had a great day yesterday. A sincere thanks for your service with a special thought for those WWII veterans, who are now deep into there 80's and 90's.

Don't know about the other parts of the Country, but this year their seemed to be a lot more celebration of the Day in the local community. A good thing.

Richard,

Bill B, is a 'Nam vet himself. As a medic he didnt have a very good experiance.

He was also one of those atacked, by protesters at the airport on return.

Just some info, if some are wondering why.

Eddie,

Thanks, but that is no excuse for his remarks. I'm sorry if he carries the mental or physical scars of Vietnam, but he did not have to watch any part of it and he chose to do that. What was he expecting to see? We don't know what he is objecting to...his experience in Vietnam, or his experience with the protesters?? Does his statement make him feel any better now?
