Had to put coolant in my son's Tauras again within 2 days. No drips under the car. Exhaust looked a liitle steamy this morning. Do you think it's the head gasket. Todd, up for a road trip??:D
 
Check to make sure it's not a cracked head as I believe they were known for that. I had one on my V6 Ranger and it acted just like that.
 
do you have a coolant system pressure tester ?????



They are not hard to do, just time consuming.,...



If you yank the heads I would send them out to be tested for cracks......... If it needs new ones, some times it is cheaper to replace the motor with a rebuilt one....



My Blazer was $1200 - $1500 to do the heads......



It was $2,100 to install a rebuilt motor...
