i know they can only be custom made.

and the lenses can cost you around 100 dollars.

and installation is easy. but id prefer to go ahead and

buy it like this.

+1 on custom made. It's an expensive and timely project, you'll need a spare set of headlights if it's your only vehicle. My HID retrofit ran about 600$ in parts and a couple weeks working a few hours a day after work. I'll try to dig up a pic.

this is THE best place to get projector headlights for ANY vehicle including the ST.

It is a DO IT YOURSELF thing though. Thats why its called a RETRO FIT. I have actually called the guy to get his advice and he was very good. He sent me some pictures of someone that did it from them and it looked GREAT. it will run ya a little over $300. but I think its worth it it you have the cash. My suggestion is to get an extra set of housings so if you F**k up you have a back up. i think you could even do some halos with them too.

If you go HID, you need to make a wiring harness so that your stock sockets are only triggering a relay, and the main power comes directly from the battery. You'll be safe running halogen projectors from your stock sockets, but i'm not sure if halogen projectors are made to use the same bulb attachment from your truck.



There are usually "plug and play" units available on ebay for many makes and models....they're pretty much all garbage. It's definitely worth spending the time on your own to do it right.



As Adrnln Jnke entioned, the retrofit source is great for parts. The guy who runs the store gives great customer service, and will personally call you to discuss your needs and what he can do to help.
