Help identifying a component

I was pulling the instrument cluster to recalibrate the speedo and noticed an odd looking box zip tied to the rail just above the brake pedal.
Do any of you know what box is in the attached photo? It just seems out of place with the rest of the items under the dash. It has a green led that blinks. Im thinking something to do with antitheft. It it aftermarket?

looks like its an AfterMarket\PreviousOwner Mod.
Can you tell to where\what other wires from this box are connected?

Either an aftermarket security system or a GPS tracker.

I agree with phil it looks like a alarm module. some small car lots will put in a tracker but there much smaller these days but similar to what they used in mid 2000s, can not tell how many wires are coming from it but if only a few then tracker maybe but alarms have quite a few wires. interesting for sure.

Try cutting the zipties loose to see if theres a label make model on it.
