HELP REPLACING BELT

I 'm trying to change my Serpentine belt but i'm not sure if have to loosen the bolt that tighten the tens-oner or it should swing freely without loosening it:unsure:

There is a square hole in the tensioner that you place the ratchet into with NO socket on it, and simply swing it out of the way,,, DO no loosen the tensioner bolt.
