hmmmm,,,this stinks

Hi all, I have an 09 STA with 32000kms, bought new in May of 09. I was switching over my 20 inch alloys to my winter tires and rims when I noticed that 3 out of the 4 alloy rims are "bubbling" around the center cap. Looks like crap! And I never drove it in snow or salt,,,what gives? Will warranty cover this? hope to put some pics up tonight.TY all in advance

Sounds like it wasn't cleaned completely before the coating was applied during the manufacturing process.

also, if you use a car wash the "prep" that they spray on contains acid that will penetrate the clear coat and damage the wheel.

it happend to the wheels on my 2000 impala.
