Well I got one of my subs installed, and one of my amps. (it's a start..) I need to take my factory sub out and was wondering how hard it will be to get the harness out. Is it worth taking out? I just plan on selling the factory sub in the swap and sell. To be honest the harness looks like a lot of trouble to get out. Thanks for any help.

It is not that bad, requires the trim to come off.... You will get more money for it with the harness included... Read the install project, may give you a better idea...

Like Todd Z said it is not bad at all. I think I took off the door trac trim on the passenger side, the kick plate, and had to pull a little of the rubber mat up. A lot of those plastic connectors to pull loose but the pop right out. There's a part # on that harness so it would be better to include it with the sub.

Like Todd mentions, it is worth your time to pull it as you will get more out of the sub for resale.

Click on my wrench if you want to see the install project. It should help you understand what you need to do to get the harness out.
