I had a roommate years ago that bought a cheap used Vega and was to lazy to ever do any service on it. He put over 50,000 miles on it without changing the oil, tune-ups or anything before it cratered. Say what you will about Vegas but his piece of sh*t car was amazing. I remember we had this big flood and his car was parked on the street. The water literally reached the rooftop. I thought that was the end of his car. He waited a couple of days for it to dry out, went out and got into it and it started right up. He drove it for another year.
