How loud is MAC exhaust?

I wanted to know if anyone has ever heard one of these exhaust systems on an ST. Explorer Express says that it has a moderate to loud exhaust note, but how loud is loud?

i have had a magnaflow cat-back on both my 04 and 07.

i like the sound a wot on my v-8 07. it is loud.

on my ex 04, it sounded good, but lacked the v-8 performance sound.

cabin noise on the 04 was bit much, but on the 07 it was minimal.

just my 2 cents as i will be looking for a magnaflow for my new ride.

my 03 with the duals and flow 40 and the 04 with the magnaflow....



Also if you want a little performance and not too loud, Just cut in a replacement muffler in your stock pipes..

Has anyone ever tried just removing the stock resonator and leaving the stock muffler? That would be a really cheap fix if the stock muffler sounded ok. Still...it's very restrictive.

Had the MAc for about 3 years Then the 3 inch tail pipe rusted off:wacko: Adapted the 3 inch muffler to the stock tailpipe not much more noise than stock. I also have this exhaust on my 97 mountaineer 5.0 and it sounds real sweet but does have a littlle drone sometimes.
