The following are instructions provided by Caymen that I thought might be of interest/useful....

First off,...copy the URL (that you want to burn to DVD).

Open a new browser. Go to the link below (http://www.videodl.org/).

Download the FLV file.

Google "Riva FLV encoder".

Install that program.

Convert the FLV file to an MPG file.

Open your favorite DVD or VCD burning program. Burn mpg to DVD or VCD format.

Insert converted file media into your DVD player and enjoy.

I have a question: How does one convert the FLV file to an MPG file?

I have the Riva FLV Encoder program installed, but I guess I'm not doing it right.

I put the URL of the video in the input and I want the output to the DVD burner (drive E in my case). At what point is the conversion to MPEG done? And I think it's MPEG-2 to be able to play in a dvd, right?

You convert the file like this...

[Broken External Image]:

Once you have the MPG on your HDD, you need to use your favorite DVD burning program. I use Nero. Choose "Create a DVD Video". Add the MPG file to the DVD program. Set up your title into the DVD Table of Contents. Then burn the DVD. Nero will format the file to DVD standards.

You can also create a VCD the same way. A VCD will be cheaper with no loss of quality since the source quality is not that good in the first place.
