I would like to set this up @ moms lake lot. She owns the empty one next to her house. Setting some poles could be a chore.

Bob,

If I do build it. Ill' invite the whole myst gang......:haveabeer:

I can imagine several days before taking a break..:bwahaha:

Sondra,

I was looking in your library. I had a russian blue cat like yours. Nieghbor punks, pit bulls caught and killed him on my patio. All animal control did was ticket them.

Someone dumped him in my moms private comunity @ the lake. On the way home he was a lover boy. Showing his apreciation to get a new home. After cleaning him up. His silver hair sheened. He was a good boy. He was about 8 when killed.

Eddie, I've got the poles, a JD tractor, and all sizes of augers. Loading the trailer now. See ya soon!

Don't forget to pack extra underwear! :cheeky:

Hey Steve, think you could do one that has a release on it? So you can launch into the Pacific??? I'm a very sick person. Only thing would be to wear my waterproof leg and pray it doesn't come shooting off of me!! Bob :supercool::supercool::supercool::supercool::banana::banana::banana:

So -- if I get this correctly.

Hugh driving the Tractor.

Eddie S acting as the Launch Master

Bob C as the launchee.

All the rest of us searching the farm for Bob's waterproof leg.

You are all certifiably crazy.

I'm in, and will bring the keg.

:supercool::supercool::supercool:

I seen a similar thing on TV a few years ago. They used a catch net at the landing zone. One young woman agreed to be the first to try it and got seriously hurt when she bounced off the catch net like a trampoline and was thrown into the air about 30 feet before landing on the ground in a heap. They actually had video of the landing, and it was not pretty.

That's one of those things people try right after they say: "I can do that. Here, hold my beer".:bwahaha:

For something that looks so "slapped together over several beers", I gotta say that the quality of the video editing and production is pretty darn good...

I agree, the video editing and what looks like quality poles and bungees make this look well planned and engineered. I would rather the far side be a body of water, or at least have a safety net though....

btw - I love the one where he gets pulled off the ATV while driving. :supercool:

If I were you, at the far side I'd set up big blocks with randomly-placed green pigs  so whoever tries it would know how it feels like to be one of the  ANGRY BIRDS!!! Hahaha!!!

AW Shucks!!

While @ moms last week. I showed her the video.

She said , no way your putting that on my land. I said, but Hugh is on the way with the poles and auger...She walked away, shaking her head no....:bwahaha:

I even told her, she didnt have to ride it. She could drive the lawn tractor..:bwahaha:

I demand we start a petition to get the local zoning laws to allow us to do this. I'm sure Mom is a pushover, tell her we'll cook and clean for the weekend! The slingshot is a "Moral Imperative" and must be built. Bob

Did you teii mom that there would be free beer.

We should all ban together and occupy someplace. Possibly a bar. Until mother agrees.
