25 straight days of rain in the Seattle. This is measurable rain fall at the airport. They don't count the drizzle or fog that gets the ST all wet in the mornings...LOL

Record is 33 days and the forecast is rain through end of next week.

Last sunny day was December 6th. Doom and gloom days are here and it gets old fast!

One of the local DJ's did the weather bit in the morning..."Skipping the weather report because if you can't figure it out then something is wrong with you"...lol

And, if my brother (lives in Florida) ask me what the weather is like in Seattle one more time I'm going to send him a bottle of Seattle Rain!

I spent a week in Seattle, Apr. '99. No rain. Man, it seemed like there was a Starbuck's on every block. :)

Saw a car wash with a pink elephant... really...

SST,

Although there has been rain for 25 consecutive days, it has been sunny too. Both last Saturday and Sunday began with sunshine for several hours before the rain clouds swept in.

You might remember a few years ago the cloud cover we experienced for well over 100 consecutive days.

Rain ain't so bad. Doesn't bother me all that much.

I know what you mean, SST. If you are into snowboarding or skiing, you would be in 7th heaven right now. There were scores of folks in the same doldrums last year with the consecutive days of sun and 60 degree-weather throughout the winter....no snow in the mountains.

Seems Northwesterners are happiest when they're complaining.

Could you pack it up and ship it to AZ? We have not had significant rain since last spring. It sprinkled enough a couple of weeks ago to get the ST really dirty...but that's it.

We could use a couple of weeks of a good soaking rain.

We had some of the rain last night over here in Maine. Even had thunder and lightening. Nice sunny 50 degree day today. Now all the snow is gone. But great for the oil prices.:p

We can't get any rain S of Houston. A front moved through a day ago with rain. None here; but was in Houston.

I pee'd on my tires to see how they will do in wet conditions in my driveway :):)

SST, I'm just above you in Victoria B.C. and I think today was our 26th and the record is 31. Glad my crossterrains have good wet traction. :D:p:rolleyes:

cant complain about the weather in my area of CT- tomarrow should be even better getting up there to high 50's...but look at the bright (sunny..haha) side, your S/T gets washed for free!!!

Wish we could get some of that Seattle rain. And we actually did get some today. Usually, though, this time of year, it's far to cold for the rain to fall (at least in liquid form).

Robert,

I live in central Texas and with no appreciable rain in over 2 months, and high winds, we are getting grass fires around here nearly every day! The is an outdoor burning ban in effect and yet every day, some idiot tries to burn trash in their back yards and ends up burning a couple hundred acres of grass and usually taking in a house or barn in the process.

If we pray for rain we will get washed away when it starts.
