Yesterday I saw a Nissan Van. It was about the same size as a, Ford short wheelbase E-series.

Never seen one before.

Eddie,

Yes, most auto makers make a variety of commercial style vehicles like vans and trucks, but they tend to cater to the businesses overseas. You rarely see commercial Mercedes-Benz trucks and Vans because they don't sell many in the USA. They are usually very popular in the countries where they are made, but the US dealers don't stock or display them....I think nearly all the foreign made commercial vehicles are all special order items. Mercedes and Volvo have a few US dealerships and warranty/repair facilities for their big trucks, but it may only be a handful scattered across the country.

They have ALL 3 of these around here and on the lot in Myrtle Beach. The are all fugly, but have a hell of a lot of room. I'll stik with FORD.

LaRue,

The one on the left, in the middle pic is exactly, what I saw.

I guess they are not popular around here. Ford and Chevy around here.

I think the Nissan van is relatively new. My wife's company has about 75 vehicles and bought a few Nissans last year because they got a better deal on them than the Chevys they traditionally buy. They also bought about a dozen Ford Transits for their techs who don't need to carry as much heavy stuff. She took a Transit for a spin and liked it a lot. Saves the company a mess of money on gas.

Lemar, that's not the new transit. That was a prototype. Here is what it should look like.
