Keep your eyes open, and check on some of the fleet sales. The Transit Van is getting a few years under it's belt and I imagine that some should start showing up on the Used market.



If you know any companies in your area that uses the Transit Van, check to see if you can get on their mailing list when the sell off unneeded equipment. Especially with the economy in shambles, there will be some companies who will need to sell off excess equipment.

Siemens, ADT, CPI, SafetyKleen, UPS, dozens of HVAC/florists/computer/courier services are using then around here. Should be some available in a reasonable time frame. Have 62K on mine and never done anything except oil changes. Put on a new set of Michelins last week.

I'm running 400 miles +/- a few and filling up on around 14 to 14.5 gallons.



Mileage like this makes me think Sport Trac mileage SUCKS !! my P71 Interceptors got better mileage than my Trac!:angry:

I'm trying to use gas mileage as a justification with Rose.

I get 400 miles from a 30 gal tank on my E150.

So @3.25 X 30 gal = $97.50;;

TC = @3.25 X 15 gal = $48.75....)DUH!!!!



I could cut my gas expenses IN HALF! Every little bit helps.



Probably drive 1600 miles a month. That adds up to a possible savings of $ 200 a month,, DAM!
