Ford would offer a deisel engine in the ST. That way I could do that conversion to vegetable oil (or what ever), and have great gas milage.

I drove a rental Ford Focus station wagon 5-speed turbo diesel all over Italy. Loved it. Ran it at 150-180 kph on the autostrada without a blip. Got excellent mileage (or would that have been kilometerage?).

The MPG is about the same from Bio diesel to regular Diesel fuel.....
Difference is emmisions....
