IAC (Idle Air Controller) Revisited

Today I went out into the parking lot after work and tried to start her up.



No go. The idle had been a bit rough, and I remembered the IAC problems that people had been having, and my own experience needing to clean it out last year.



Because of last year's experience I had a new one in the storage behind the backseat... 24 minutes later I had replaced it, put everything back and explained what I was doing to 2 coworkers.



Just a reminder - rough idle almost always points to this little valve. Probably should have changed it on Sunday, but I forgot.

Looks a little gunky....Yes, thats a technical term... :lol:

Grungy is a tech term that also can be used Todd. I think it means a little more gunky than normal.
