My truck, like I assume all, has 2 temp sensors located under the throttle body and next to the thermostat housing. On my 2 sensors I have noticed that 1 has a wiring harness plugged into it but the other does not. My temp guage in the dash seems to read fine and the truck seems to run ok, os my question is, should there be a harness plugged into each sensor? I ask this question before I take the time to take the throttle body to hunt for one, but with the throttle body still on I can't see or feel an errant plug. Any ideas as to if I need to remove the throttle body and go hunting for a plug? I will add there is definitely a sensor in both positions. The only "repair" I have made even remotely in the area is I had to replace the IAC valve a few months ago, but I did not remove the throttle body to this of course.
