I started the ST yesterday and the rpm's went from close to stalling to about 1,000 for a while. I turned the truck off and restarted it again and the problem has yet to return. Any help would be great!

Sounds like the ST gremlin.... Happens once in a while...
You could clean the IAC though...

Use intake cleaner and 3 in one oil...
