Improved valve body

I read in another thread that there is an improved valve body to help with the tranny flare issue. Does my 04 already have this type? If not, how much and how involved would a DIY installation be? Also, which is the 'problem' solenoid and how much and how easy is this to install myself? I'm still under warranty but would like to know for future reference.



I'm experiencing the flare again so I'm taking the Trac in to home dealership for warranty's sake along with a few minor gripes.

03 and up has the updated valve body...

You can disconnect the battery and reset the computer, But I don't think the dealer is going to do any thing for you....

Best to up the EPC pressure on your own...
