interesting issue

Last night when I get into my ST it starts fine and I start driving. About 1/16 of a mile, my ebrake light comes on, my radio dies, and the power windows including the rear window and locks stop working.... ???



The A/C and heater controls still work though.



I stop and turn it off, then back on and everything works again....



Any ideas?

Check ground cables. On a DC system, bad grounds do really funny things.

And for some reason, there seems to be a glitch with the PCM's of the Trac's. Many here have been driving along, experience these ghost issues, turn it of and back on and it never happens again...



So checking the connections is a good thing to do, but if you find nothing wrong, don't freak out unless it comes back.

I had ghost issues when my battery started getting weak. It would still start but I could tell it was turning over slower. As a few days progressed weird electrical things were happening. Replaced the battery and all was well.

MY wife's Explorer had similar issues when her battery got weak. Changed it and all is fine.

I'll try the exorcism:blink: first and if that doesn't fix it, i'll go and get a new battery.
