Yep, the 32 & 64 have the same processor as the iphone 3GS. The 8 has the old one.
Basically a HUGE advantage for WIFI speed and 3D gaming.
That alone was worth the extra $100 for me, not to mention four times the memory.

I fly for a living, I bought the 32 gig and have MANY MANY movies, videos and like 1000 songs and still have room.
You CANNOT do that with the 8 gig.
In my case, hands down worth the extra money for the 32 gig.
Also, Giant Eagle sells gift cards for Best Buy. So I went there and bought $450.00 worth of gift cards. Got 90 cents off per gallon of fuel. Then went and used the cards on my iTouch...
